Definitive Issue "PNG State Arms"

FM199403 Parramatta National Government - Definitives

The Divisional War led to an enormous economical crisis, especially during September and October 1994. When the attempt to invade the revolutionary ruled territories in the South failed with the battle of the Jandar Pass, negotiations were started, resulting in the Parramatta Covenant. A Republic with an elected King was set up, based on veto rights for the representants of all 8 Divisions, replacing the old monarchy which had lost support both from the left and the right. A set of Definitive stamps was issued, decorated with the Royal Eagle and a new symbol, the 8-tipped Star of Parramatta, and with a new currency, the Musogradian Dinar (M$).
