1995 Stamp Issues

Commemorative Issue "Raje Chernikov"

FM199501 Raje Mikhail Chernikov

Although the designation of the state at the time was "Respublika tal Musograd", it was formally a monarchy ruled by an elected king, a compromise between progressive and conservative forces to pacify the state after the Civil War. In May 1995, a series of 4 stamps were issued depicting King (Raje) Chernikov, printed on white and coloured paper. The stamps were the first ones to be printed with a b/w laser printer which had become available to Posta tal Musograd.

Commemorative Issue "Australija"

FM19502 Australija Landscapes

In 1995, the economy of the Musogradian state grew quickly. At the same time, the Australija settlement policy established in 1993 was formally upheld. The two stamps issued in summer 1995 are witnesses of that policy, displaying Australijan landscapes in the Sydney area, the Blue Mountains and the Royal National Park. The tensions between those propagating a focus on economic growth and those more in favour of an active Australijan settlement policy led to armed conflict in 1996 and are still reverberating, 25 years later, in the politics of the current Federal Micronations.
