PhilatelyEach year, Posta tal Musograd issues a limited number of stamps for the Federated Micronations ("FM"), sometimes specifically dedicated to one of the Member States of the FM. The stamps are printed by the company yourstamps located in Balangrad City.
Post tal Musograd is famous for the design and quality of their stamps. They are laser-printed on gummed paper and professionally perforated. The design is done by local and international artists.
In addition to the current permanent series "Australian Landscapes", a number of commemorative stamps are issued each year, celebrating events like Independence Day (October 3rd) or the start of the Chinese New Year. Local and international artists are featured, but there are also stamps with political themes like the 2014 Ukraine or the 2015 Charlie Hebdo issues. In these cases, Posta tal Musograd follows the directives of the State Department of the Federated Micronations.
All stamps where no designer information is given were designed by the Chief Graphic Designer of Posta tal Musograd, J.Schwarz.
Posta tal Musograd plans to document all issues since 1985 on this webpage, starting with the most current issues. Not all issues will be available for sale, though. The issues before 2002 were not printed by yourstamps as the company was only founded in that year, but by Posta tal Musograd and local printers. For these issues, we have added information on the political background as it is in many cases needed to understand the stamp designs.
The images usually have a 150dpi resolution in regards to the original stamps. As an example, the 2014 "Year of the Horse" issue below has got a total width over both stamps of 72mm. For larger blocks or similar, a smaller resolution might be selected, in most cases 80% of the above resolution. This will be noted with the stamps.
